Ahead of National Healthcare Decisions Day on April 16, we wanted to share some tools you can use to encourage your staff to complete an advance directive or at least start the conversation with their family, their physician, and other members of the healthcare team. We know that having a conversation with patients about advance care planning can be difficult, and what better way to have those conversations than if your staff all have their own advance care plan? We know your team spends so much time and energy taking care of their patients; this is a way they can take care of themselves and make their wishes known. While it’s not a fun subject, it’s an important one.
