#FightFlu Campaign and NFL PSA
As mentioned previously, AlaHA, the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama have joined together to develop flu resources for hospitals and individuals. The resources include a social media toolkit, Flu Fact Friday content, sample text and on-hold messages, and more! Everything needed to encourage community members to get the flu vaccine can be found here on the ADPH website.
The National Football League (NFL) Players Association and the American Hospital Association (AHA) teamed up on a PSA to encourage individuals to wear masks to protect against COVID-19. The video cautions that “gathering without a mask puts everyone at risk, including all the caregivers we desperately need” and features front-line workers from Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO. The PSA is part of AHA’s Wear A Mask campaign that includes materials and digital tools hospitals and health systems can use and customize for their audience.
