 Friday, February 14, 2020

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s (ADPH’s) Weekly Influenza Report, statewide influenza-like illness (ILI) increased to 9.34 percent, meaning one in 10 Alabamians are visiting a health care provider for an ILI. Significant influenza activity has been detected in each district in Alabama except for the Mobile district, which has only reported 5.8 percent of outpatient visits relating to ILI. Later this month the CDC will release its flu vaccine efficacy estimates.
