AlaHA offers two great member resources for hiring employees and accessing staffing services.
Alhospitaljobs.com – This custom website connects thousands of nurses, doctors and other hospital job seekers with Alabama hospitals each year. The platform is affiliated with the Hospital Careers network which includes more than 17 hospital associations with a goal of being a one-stop shop for hospital job listings. Healthcare Staffing Services – Another member service allows hospitals to have one central agreement with 97 national health care staffing vendors for temporary staffing services. This partnership with a subsidiary of the South Carolina Hospital Association, provides terrific benefits including:
- No minimum contract assignments
- No hiring fees after one contract
- Ability to cancel up to 12 hours per pay period
- Up to 16 hours of orientation credit
- No call back pay or shift/weekend differentials
- Compensation for no-shows or incomplete assignments

This program is open to all AlaHA member hospitals and utilizes a web-based software system for posting and confirming orders, scheduling, credentialing, timekeeping, and invoicing, again at no cost to participating hospitals.
